Having heard mixed reviews about 'Stiff', I decided to give it a shot myself. Mary Roach has done a commendable job at making a somewhat morbid subject captivating. The balance between detailed explanations of scientific processes and her signature humor makes the book a worthwhile read. I received the book with my membership discount, which was a nice bonus. The delivery was quick, which is always a plus. However, there were parts where I felt a tad overwhelmed with information, hence the 4-star rating. Still, a solid book for those curious about the afterlife of bodies.

Stiff is an absolutely fascinating read that dives into the intriguing world of human cadavers with a blend of respect and humor. Mary Roach's writing is both informative and witty, making a potentially morbid subject engaging and approachable. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned and how entertained I was throughout. This book challenged my preconceptions and left me with a sense of awe about the contributions cadavers have made to science. Couldn't put it down! Arrived quickly and was well-packaged. Perfect addition to my bookshelf!

I found 'Stiff' quite enlightening. Mary Roach handles the subject of human cadavers with surprising tact and a good dash of humor. Got an extra discount with my subscription, which made this purchase even sweeter! The book was delivered smoothly and in great condition. While the content is engaging, some sections felt a bit stretched, which is why I'm rating it 4 stars. Overall, it's an educational experience that I'd recommend to anyone interested in exploring the curious journey of human bodies post-mortem.
