As a new reader of Keillor's work, I found this book to be a mixed bag. While some stories were engaging, others failed to captivate my interest. Still worth a read, though.

Garrison Keillor's collection in 'The Keillor Reader' truly sweeps you into a world rich with wit and nostalgia. Each story seems to be expertly woven with humor and reflection, making it feel as if you’re sitting in a cozy room with an old friend recounting tales of yesteryears. The book arrived quickly, and I couldn't put it down once it was in my hands. It's clear he's a master storyteller, bringing Lake Wobegon to life with every page.

I've always enjoyed Keillor’s narratives, and this compilation didn't disappoint. The blend of humor and wisdom in the Lake Wobegon stories is delightful. I got an extra discount with my membership, which made the purchase even better. However, a few stories felt repetitive, echoing themes explored before. Nonetheless, Keillor's character sketches remain vivid and engaging. A solid addition to any fan's library.

For anyone who has followed Keillor over the years, this collection is a treasure trove. I received my copy just a day after ordering - thank you, Prime shipping! The book brims with Keillor's trademark storytelling style, combining humor, wisdom, and a touch of melancholy perfectly. I especially loved revisiting stories from 'Prairie Home Companion' days. If you're a fan, this is a must-have.
