If people who responded to the survey (respondents) completed high school but had no further education, they reported 12 years of education. If they stopped after a bachelor's degree, they reported 16 years. There were 2018 people who answered the question about their own education and 1780 who answered the question about the education of their mothers. Compare the distribution of years of education of the respondents with the distribution of years of education of their mothers.
