Introduction:
Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-corona virus (MERS-CoV) infection is becoming a global health problem that is primarily detected in KSA with progressive increase in cases and deaths. Mass gathering and cross country mixture during season of Hajj and Umrah, the associated hygienic conditions and limited community knowledge about the infection are possible causes. Although many researchers have analyzed epidemiology of the infection, there are few reports of knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) of healthcare providers towards the infection in KAS.

Introduction
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has experienced a prolonged outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) corona virus since 2012. Healthcare workers (HCWs) form a significant risk group for infection. Goal of this survey was to assess the knowledge, attitudes, infection control practices and educational needs of HCWs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to MERS corona virus and other emerging infectious diseases.

Saudi Arabia (KSA) showed a higher number of Middle East respiratory syndrome-corona virus (MERSCoV) infection in Eastern Mediterranean Region.
