Hello! Im a certified math and science tutor for 6th grade-college level subjects with 5 years of experience. Outside of tutoring, I hold a strong primary interest in applied physics and research. I recently graduated as Valedictorian from my class at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science n Mechanical Engineering and Applied Physics, and then acquired a Master's Degree at Oxford University in Radiation Biology (M.Sc.) with Distinction in Fall 2020. I currently work at the California Institute of Technology pursuing a Ph.D in Geophysics. My goal is to increase your confidence in Math & Science subjects, both in the classroom and beyond. I look forward to being your tutor!
Aside from my background in mathematics, I have several years of experience tutoring introductory-advanced level subjects. Over the past 5 years, I have kept track of my record for increasing my student's grades in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Calculus. The effect of my tutoring increases student's grades in these subjects by 17 numeric points (1.5 letter grades, for example from a C to a B+) on average; with the highest increase ever recorded being 64 numeric points and the lowest 7 points.
Aside from regularly incorporating Physics and Chemistry into my day-to-day work, I have several years of experience tutoring introductory-advanced level subjects in these fields. Over the past 5 years, I have kept track of my record for increasing my student's grades. The effect of my tutoring increases student's grades in Physics and Chemistry by 21 numeric points (2 letter grades, for example from a C to an A) on average; with the highest increase ever recorded being 46 numeric points and the lowest 10 points.

We can also sit down and have a pre-tutoring chat, if you would like to get to know me better ahead of time ( my charge one cup of coffee for this meeting! ). I prefer meeting online, if possible, since I am sometimes away at conferences.
