I conducted independent research on Manipur, India regarding Indigenous storytelling and narratives in environmental global governance. I worked in an interdisciplinary environment where I produced and analyzed both qualitative and quantitative data.

I assisted in archiving materials and documents in the museum’s digital database. I also learned responsible handling of archived materials and assisted in fundraising events for the museum.

Phi Alpha Theta Historical Regional Conference
I conducted original research on the legal, Indigenous, and environmental history of the Bighorn Canyon and Fort Smith in Montana which I then presented at the Phi Alpha Theta Historical Conference. This original research is awaiting publication currently.

With my Bachelors in History, I can teach students about Colonial, Revolutionary, Early Republic, and Modern American History in a way that is inclusive and accurate. Further, I will prioritize relatable and engaging materials that will broaden students understandings of America’s history that is relevant today!

With my minor in Political Science, I focused heavily on comparative and international relations. Because of this, I am able to effectively transform complex political relations into engaging, thoughtful, and relatable terms for students.

With my Bachelors in History with a minor in Political Science, I can teach students about the social and economic forces that constructed modern-day politics. Also, contextualizing historical events to better understand political systems is important and achievable so students can better understand modern structures.

Sociology

With my Bachelors in History, I predominantly focus on social histories which rely on sociological perspectives. I am able to help students better understand social processes, influences, and behaviors that influence and shape every aspect of our daily lives in a meaningful and productive manner.
