Visit the XBRL home page at www.XBRL.org, and read the section entitled ‘‘what is XBRL.’’ Then, do each of the following:
a. Select the option ‘‘Latest News’’ from the home page, which lists several articles that describe recent developments. Choose one of these and write a one-page summary of your findings.
b. Select ‘‘Benefits Across Business’’ at www.xbrl.org/BenefitsAcrossBusiness/. This site contains a set of articles describing the various benefits of XBRL to different types of businesses. Select one article from this list and write a one-page summary of it.
