The independent variable x is the time spent in cages, and the dependent variable y is the ratio of the numbers of type 1 to type 2 females. The following data (courtesy of C. (a) Plot the scatter diagram of y versus x and determine if a linear model of relation is appropriate.
(b) Determine if a linear relation is plausible for the transformed data y€² = log10y.
(c) Fit a straight line regression to the transformed data.
