A mass of 0.5 kg is attached to an aluminum wire having a diameter of 1.6 mm and an unstretched length of 0.7 m. The other end of the wire is fixed to a post. The mass rotates about the post in a horizontal plane at a rotational speed such that the angle between the wire and the horizontal is 5.0o. Find the tension in the wire and its length.
