In a study to better understand what sort of mammals are most vulnerable to being hit by cars on a particular highway in upstate New York, researchers sampled stretches of road in the investigation area over a period of 1 year and found 287 dead mammals killed by traffic. Of the 287 hit, 9 were carnivores, 195 were herbivores, and 83 were omnivores. Other research published by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) indicated that among mammals in this habitat, 22% are carnivores, 53% herbivores, and 25% are omnivores. What type of analysis is appropriate for these data?
