Many people believe that significant numbers of U.S. jobs have been “outsourced”; that is, firms have relocated operations to countries in which labor is cheaper, so the jobs have moved overseas. While there is no question that there has been some outsourcing, has it been significant relative to the size of the U.S. labor market? Briefly describe how you would analyze this question.
