Refer to Exercise 9.19 (p. 449). The "fear of negative evaluation" (FNE) scores for the 11 bulimic females and 14 females with normal eating habits are saved in the BULIMIA file. The confidence interval you constructed in Exercise 9.19 requires that the variance of the FNE scores of bulimic females be equal to the variance of the FNE scores of normal females. Conduct a test (at a = .05) to determine the validity of this assumption.
