A part of a duct system is a 10-by-22-in rectangular main duct carrying 1600 cfm of air. A tee to a branch duct, 10 × 10 in, draws 500 cfm from the main. The main duct remains the same size downstream from the branch. Determine the velocity of flow and the velocity pressure in all parts of the duct.
