JA: What is it Leslie?

JA: Really?

JA: A fine? I just talked to Avis yesterday. She didn’t mention to me anything about a fine from the Ministry of Labour. We are almost finished the Hillsburg’s audit, I am just not sure what’s going on. Leslie, could you send me that link to the video that you watched?
LN: Here is the link, but it looks like it doesn’t work anymore. The video was probably taken down.
JA: Do you know what this fine relates to?
LN: I think so. Do you remember how in late April, Hillsburg told us that they had to temporarily shut down one of their warehouses?
JA: Yes, I remember that.
LN: It looks like the shut-down was due to a COVID-19 outbreak at that warehouse.
JA: Really?
LN: From what I understood was said in the video, I think the Ministry of Labour wants to fine Hillsburg for violating a number health and safety regulations that were not followed in that warehouse. I think that one of the lawyers said that one of the COVID-19 infected warehouse workers died. The Ministry is now investigating Hillsburg for not taking all the necessary safety precautions, like supplying their workers with required personal protective equipment, such as facemasks and gloves.
JA: Leslie, I am really surprised by all of this. We should get on the phone and talk to Avis right away. We need to get an explanation of what happened. Did we receive back the legal confirmations from Hillsburg’s lawyers?
LN: Yes.
JA: Was there anything mentioned in the confirmation about this fine?
LN: No, nothing.
JA: Okay, let’s talk to Avis, ASAP. This is a very urgent and sensitive matter.
