We make a small cut on the inner forearm of 25 volunteer college students and apply Formulation NS to the wounds. Th e mean healing time for these subjects is x 5 7.1 days. A statistical test shows that this decrease in healing time is statistically signifi cant. Explain why this result has little practical importance. Moral: Statistical signifi cance is not the same as practical importance.
