Impact investors make investments in firms, organizations, and funds in order to gener- ate positive social and environmental impacts alongside a financial return. Toniic is an organization dedicated to impact investing, whose members comprise ultra-high net worth individuals, foundations, family offices (dedicated to managing the portfolios of families and high net worth individuals), and funds. Many Toniic members choose to al- locate 100 percent of their portfolios to active investments. Use the concepts developed in the chapter to assess the decision to do so.
