A chief information officer (CIO) is the corporate executive in charge of the strategy and implementation of the company’s IT. In other words, the CIO is in charge of all IT personnel, processes, and technologies. Assume that a survey of CIOs was conducted. The survey asked the CIOs if their company had the following issues: (1) system was hacked, (2) system experienced outages, and (3) systems were inadequate to support the company’s processes.
