The company tests a random sample of 42 lengths of wire and finds the mean breaking load is 5.0611 kg. The wire-production machine has a specification such that the standard deviation is 0.2803 kg. Using α = 0.10, test whether the steel wire has an average breaking load different from 5 kg.
