Select a chemical engineer whose work looks interesting to you, and do a search on his/her publications to get a broader picture. (Your library will have access to several scientific search engines. The Thomson Reuters Web of Science is an excellent place to begin. Its coverage is considerably broader than Google Scholar, but the latter is open access. You should also use the person's home page as a starting point if one exists.)
