Have individual students evaluate a recent purchase of a large-scale item (e.g., expensive clothing, car, stereo system, appliance, furniture, etc.) based on the stages in the Consumer Decision Making Process. Ask them if they think they gathered enough information before making their decision. See if they were satisfied with the quantity or quality of the information they had at their disposal.
