A linear model of the α-subsystem of a grid connected voltage-source converter (VSC) with a Y-Y transformer (Mahmood, 2012) was presented in Problem 69, Chapter 8. In Figure P8.20(b), G_C(s) = K and G_P(s) is given in a pole zero form (with a unity gain and slightly modified parameters) as follows:

Use MATLAB and frequency response techniques to obtain the Bode plots for this system and find the following:

a. The range of K for system stability

b. The gain margin, phase margin, zero dB frequency, and 180° frequency, if K = 5 × 10⁵.
