Discuss how a flash ADC with a conversion time of 1 μs would work for the situation of Problem 11-30.

Assume that the analog signal in Figure 11-38(a) is to be digitized by performing continuous A/D conversions using an eight-bit digital ramp converter whose staircase rises at the rate of 1 V every 25 μs. Sketch the reconstructed signal using the data obtained during the digitizing process. Compare it with the original signal, and discuss what could be done to make it a more accurate representation.
