Pick a franchise organization that you admire. Spend some time looking at the company’s Web site. Describe how the company is set up. Is it a product and trademark franchise or a business format franchise? Does it sell individual franchise agreements, area franchise agreements, master franchise agreements, or some combination of the three? How many company-owned stores and how many franchise outlets are in the system? Report any particularly interesting or unusual things you learned about the system.
