Students don’t know what MIS is, nor do they know the importance of information systems in business. We must teach the students what MIS is and why it matters to today’s business professionals. Again and again I remind myself to do that. I know that MIS is important, and I’m surprised that they don't respond. Their lack of response becomes more understandable when I remember that they haven't worked in business and they don’t know how important information systems are. Dee's blog is a small, but understandable, example of how MIS knowledge will be useful to the business graduates.
