Using the template in the chapter workbook that contains the direct costs of flying passengers for Easy Air, do the following computations on the worksheet for DB 3.1:

1. Calculate the average number of flights, passengers, and revenue miles flown for three years.

2. Calculate the average total revenue, costs, and profits for Easy Air.

3. Now get the revenue, cost, and profit by flight.

4. Repeat these e orts to complete the template for average passengers flown and average revenue seat miles flown.

REQUIRED:

b. Which set of numbers do you like the best? Why?

c. Do these results look better or worse than Easy Air’s performance in 20x6? To answer this question, you’ll have to complete the template for DB 3.1g. Use the same types of analysis as above but only look at the 20x6 results for revenue, costs, and the various drivers.
