Note that all but one of the perspectives in Question 1 fall into the content category. What about process perspectives—expectancy theory, equity theory, and goal-setting theory? Answering the same question with regard to process perspectives would probably prove a little more difficult. Why? In other words, explain what this exercise might tell us about some basic differences between content and process perspectives.
