Have each team study a major bank with extensive e-commerce offerings. For example, Wells Fargo Bank is well on its way to being a cyberbank. Hundreds of brick-and-mortar branch offices are being closed. In the spring of 2003, the bank served more than 1.2 million cyberaccounts (see wellsfargo.com). Other banks to consider are Citicorp, Netbank, and HSBC (Hong Kong). Each team should attempt to convince the class that its e-bank activities are the best.
