a) Is the NPP nearly perfectly straight? Is the histogram nearly perfectly bell-shaped? Double the original number of bins in the histogram. Can the choice of number of bins change one’s impression of the bellshapedness? Is it easier to judge bell-shapedness of the histogram or straightness of the NPP?

b) Repeat four more times, and answer the same questions. Is it more difficult to see through the random variation or noise in your data to the underlying pattern with a histogram or NPP?
