Scientists searching for higher performance flexible structures created a diode with organic and inorganic layers. It has excellent mechanical bending properties. Applying a bending strain to the diode actually leads to higher current density \(\left(\mathrm{mA} / \mathrm{cm}^{2}\right)\).
