b. Calculate the average annual growth rate of GDP per capita in China and the Euro area for three periods: 19601980, 1980-2000, and 2000-last year available. Do growth rates actually confirm your finding of convergence/ non-convergence between the GDP per capita of the two countries/areas?

c. Suppose that the Euro area's GDP per capita were to increase by \(1 \%\) each year during the next 20 years, while China's GDP per capita were to rise by \(6 \%\) per year during the same period. How would the distance between the two economies' GDP per capita change after 20 years?
