a. Calculate the overhead cost per unit for each product using traditional volume-based costing systems, on the basis of machine hours.

b. Compare the overhead cost per unit of each product found in Question 1 a., using the traditional volume-based costing system, with the cost per unit for each product using ABC principles found in Example 13.2.

c. Compare the total cost per unit using the traditional volume-based costing system with the total cost per unit using ABC.
