Trilogy software has been in business since 1990 producing sales configuration and support software called Selling Chain. It was started by Joe Liemandt who saw a short window of opportunity to produce and market this type of software. The company is successful with many large corporations such as Boeing using its software. Employees are recruited from top computer science schools and put through a rigorous three month long corporate boot camp, with long hours and difficult projects that encourage new employees to take risks. Winners enjoy a two day trip to Las Vegas as a reward. This sets the stage for work in a team based fast paced changing environment.
