There is not one way about the application of stand-up areas. In some cases, the only method open to an IPT may be virtual. Even with a virtual stand-up area, there should be at least one physical area maintained by the project manager if necessary. Experience shows that having a live, face-to-face status meeting is a powerful communication and project management tool.
