Finally, a leader needs to be familiar with multiple approaches to leading people in an organization. Becoming familiar with various theories of leadership is an effective way to diversify your approach to organizational leadership. Some of the resources provided in this module explain the three theories of leadership (transformational leadership, authentic leadership, and servant leadership). Leaders sometimes find themselves in situations where their value system or moral compass is challenged and where they do not necessarily agree with the organization’s mission or vision for a specific initiative.
