Klinger decides to attend an outdoor screening of the Simpson’s Movie, held on the paved terrace area of The Mermaid. Halfway through the movie, Klinger is stung by a single bee, to which he is highly allergic which causes him to be hospitalized and unable to work for one month. Independent evidence reveals there are no previous records of bee stings being suffered by guests, and that no hive or swarm was present in the hotel grounds.
