A recent study, young adults (18-25 years) were randomly assigned to one of two treatments to increase seat belt use. The intervention group received Safe Vehicle Engagement (SAVE), a 6-week automated interactive text message program, including weekly seat belt use queries with feedback and goal support to increase seat belt use. The control group received similar queries but no additional feedback.

a) Test whether there is a significant relationship between treatment assignment and always wearing a seat belt using the Pearson Chi-Squared Test. Use a 5% level of significance. Be sure to list all 7 steps and show all the necessary working by hand.

b) Using your work from part a and provide a manuscript style summary of your findings (make sure to include measure of association and confidence interval).

c) Verify your answers for everything you include in your manuscript style summary using SAS. Provide a copy of your annotated output (i.e., box or highlight the relevant pieces).
