$13\mathrm{.}24$ Copper$($II$)$ present at a concentration of $\backslash (124\backslash$mathrm$\{$mg$\}/\backslash$mathrm$\{$L$\}\backslash )$ in a circuit board waste is to be treated to $\backslash (5\backslash$mathrm$\{$mg$\}/\backslash$mathrm$\{$L$\}\backslash )$ using precipitation. A bench$-$scale jar test has been conducted with lime dosages ranging from $5$ to $\backslash (25\backslash$mathrm$\{$~g$\}/\backslash$mathrm$\{$L$\}\backslash ).$ After treatment, the water was analyzed for residual copper, and the copper hydroxide sludge volume and concentration were determined.
