1. A company is interested in testing whether the average number of hours their employees work per week is different from 40 hours. The company takes a random sample of 50 employees and records their weekly working hours, obtaining a sample mean of 42 hours and a sample standard deviation of 3 hours. The data is slightly right skewed. Using a significance level of 0.05, perform a hypothesis test. Make sure you include all 4 steps of the hypothesis test and write detailed answers. You may write out any of the symbols in words (e.g. mu, not equal to, etc.).
