3. Watch the movie clip from Unthinkable. The man being interrogated and tortured has planted four nuclear bombs at different points around the US. Despite horrendous torture, he will not reveal where the bombs are. The bombs could kill thousands of Americans. As a last resort, the terrorist's children are brought in, and the interrogator, played by Samuel L. Jackson whose character's name is "H," threatens to begin torturing the terrorist's kids in order to get the location of the bombs. Fromboth a moral and philosophical perspective, identify the moral dilemmas involved. As you think about these dilemmas, and as you also think of yourself as a good person, or a religious person, take a position: should H torture the terrorist's children to get the terrorist to reveal where the bombs are hidden? BTW. The movie gets its name, Unthinkable, from what H is threatening to do--torture children in order to save the lives of thousands of Americans.
