Operations Manager $-$ Millwork

In this position, you will play a key role in branch planning and oversee your team's progress. You will be tasked with finding innovative ways to enhance productivity while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of performance and operations management to optimize productivity and employee satisfaction.

General duties include, but are not limited to:

Utilize our core values to direct branch operations emphasizing leadership, accountability, integrity and teamwork

Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

Help with inventory management and oversee warehouse efficiency

Formulate strategic and operational objectives

Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability

Participate in budget development and forecasts

Perform quality controls and monitor warehouse activity

Find ways to increase quality of customer service

Lead, motivate and support team members, including career development plans for direct reports

Maintain safety program enforcing safe work practices and procedures

Develop delivery routes and cultivate a strong relationship with drivers and customers

Skills & Qualifications:

BS$/$BA degree $($or equivalent experience$)$ in business, operations management or related field

Proven work experience as operations manager or similar role

Millwork, light manufacturing, assembly or construction experience preferred

Strong working knowledge of performance and operations management

Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards

Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

Proven team leader

Competent collaborator and skilled cross$-$functional communicator
