Question: 1 ( CLO # 2 ) [ 1 7 Marks ] : A continuous reinforced concrete footing is proposed to be constructed to support

1(CLO \# 2)[17 Marks]: A continuous reinforced concrete footing is proposed to be constructed to support a \(40-\mathrm{cm}\) continuous reinforced concrete wall with service load \& moment, elevation of the footing and soil properties as shown in the soil profile. Considering the compressive strength of concrete, \( f_{c}^{\prime}\)\(=30\mathrm{MPa}\), yield strength of rebar \(\mathrm{F}_{\mathrm{y}}=420\mathrm{MPa}\), taking load factor 1.4 and factor of safety 3 when you deem necessary, implementing all restrictions and limitations, Compute the following :-
a)[6 Marks]: Minimum width (B) of the footing, using Terzagh's theory,
b)[3 marks] Minimum thickness (T) of the footing (if the clear cover \(=\mathbf{10}\mathbf{c m}\)).
c)[3 marks]: Maximum moment \(\mathbf{( M u}\)) the footing must be designed to resist
d)[5 marks]: Main and secondary reinforcement for this footing using bars with \(\phi=16\) and 14 mm , respectively
