1. Connect to the database using the “SYS” user account and complete the following tasks: 

a. Run a command to show the log_mode of the database. By default, your database should be in NOARCHIVELOG MODE. However, if your database is already in ARCHIVELOG MODE, change it to NOARCHIVELOG MODE before starting this activity. 

b. Login into RMAN 

c. Log all your RMAN output into a file 

d. Run commands to complete a COLD BACKUP. 

e. Run command to list all backupset in your RMAN repository

 f. Exit RMAN and login into SQL as “SYS” 

g. Run SQL commands to show your RMAN backups 

h. Locate the physical backup files and screenshot them 

i. Delete the backups from RMAN 

j. Exit RMAN and login into SQL as “SYS” 

k. Run SQL commands to show your RMAN backups

 l. Is there any change in the output of the SQL run in 1g and 1k? Why or why not?
