Explain why the bat's flight will be a) clumsy, and b) never improve because of this injury: draw a wiring diagram identifying the damaged region of the spinal cord, the location of the damaged neuron's somas and synapses (gray or white matter), and the regions of the brain that will be affected; Finally, describe which pathway(s) will be affected, and the type of neurons (diameter and myelination) that carry this information to the brain.
