1. Design business process flow charts for important processes for TLS using EPC diagrams. Each group member designs one EPC chart.

Some important processes: customer return, customer order processing (from order entry/input to picking), walk in cash sales, materials receipt, inventory audit, annual purchase planning including bidding and placement of orders, delivery section work upon completion of packing.

2. For every process marked as M, or manual, a procedure needs to be written. The procedure outlines steps, what to do in exceptions, and embeds controls and company policies in them. Systems controls may be embedded in systems procedures as well. Each member writes a script for one of the important manual procedures in the system for the staff to follow. The scripts are written in Structured English, have serial numbers for each step, each step is cryptically stated starting with a verb, e.g., check stock balance. No verbose sentences. 3. List all numbering/id systems used in TLS and design their schemes. Identify permanent IDs (e.g., customer no) and transaction related IDs (e.g., Delivery Note No) and their numbering schemes. Permanent numbers should be based on some classification. Transaction related numbers should incorporate year and a specific barrel of numbers for each transaction type prefixed to a serial number range. All transaction IDs should be of the same length. 4. Make a list of all the balance activities that would be needed to complete the project implementation, handover, and maintenance successfully.
