1. Desiree went on an Easter Egg hunt in her local park. Once she thought all the eggs had been collected, she headed back to her parents. She got hungry along the way, sat down and ate three eggs. Then her parents called to her, so she ran toward them but tripped, spilling 2/5 of the eggs in her basket. Sadly, other kids snatched them up quickly. But Desiree actually found seven more eggs, then continued toward her parents again. She stopped to pet a friendly dog, who munched down 3/8 of the eggs in Desiree's basket. Then Desiree fed four eggs to a squirrel. Next, Desiree stopped to climb a tree spilling 4/7 of the eggs in her basket but picked up two of the eggs when climbed back down. Desiree's parents called again and they sounded angry! So Desiree left the other eggs and went to her parents. Her dad counted 11 eggs in the basket when he helped Desiree into the car.
