TotalFit is a health club that offers a number of exercise classes to its members. You are hired to
design a database system for the company. An initial analysis produced the following facts:
Each member is identified by a unique member identifier, has a name, an address, and a
registration date is recorded when a member registered.
The club offers several types of memberships: student, VIP, senior, ordinary, and family. The
fees are different for each type. A member can participate in several exercises but has to
register for each exercise class. The type of exercises can be cardio, weightlifting, yoga, gym
etc. For each exercise type, there can be several exercises scheduled.
Each exercise class is assigned an instructor and is taught in a specific room on a specified
date and a specific time (given as start time and duration).
Each exercise has an identifier, a name, and a description.
Each room is identified by a building name and a room number.
Each instructor teaches at least one class.
Some instructors are employees of the club and are salaried. The club also uses the service
of external instructors for which it keeps track of the number of hours taught and the wage
per hour.
