Peter decides to change his career path, so he leaves his accounting job in Perth city. He and his wife Cindy want to live closer to Cindy's parents in Bushby, a small town, 300km southeast of Perth. Peter signs a purchase contract, subject to finance, to buy his own business, a newsagency in Bushby. The only bank in Bushby is owned by Li Sun, who is renowned as an unscrupulous businessman. Li Sun telephones Peter to threaten Peter that if he does not take out finance to buy the newsagency shop through Li Sun's bank, at a 4% higher interest rate than the Reserve Bank rate, Li Sun will make sure that Cindy will "never walk again". Peter is afraid that Li Sun will carry out his threat and so he signs the finance contract with Li Sun's bank. Peter is very worried about him and Cindy living in the same town as Li Sun and seeks your advice.
