2. Some of us seem to be more tuned in to others and are better able to read their intentions this ability is sometimes called our Emotional Quotient ( EQ) as opposed to our Intelligence Quotient (IQ). Perhaps those people have subconsciously learned through experience some of the "tells" described by Jan Hargrave. Perhaps they subconsciously react to the observed body language but are completely unaware of their own body language and what it tells others. Would you find it useful to be able to read others body language? Would you find it useful to understand and control your own body language ? How would these skills be useful for a leader ? Again , your responses to the questions are an opportunity for you to demonstrate what you have learned from the text and the supplemental materials. Merely expressing your opinion will not demonstrate learning.
