1. Inventory Management Problems. Search the internet for one example of a company who has dealt with an inventory problem. What was the issue? How did they deal with it? How did it turn out? Would you have recommended another solution and what would that be? How did you react to it? Could it have happened at your workplace?

2. Inventory Management Article. Find an article in the current press (newspapers, business magazines, etc.) that is concerned with inventory management. Provide us with the URL and summarize the findings for us. It's NOT enough to simply describe the article but you must do some rudimentary analysis or commentary about it. How did it impact your learning?

3. Inventory Management in Your Workplace. Describe inventory management in your workplace. What improvements, if any, would you recommend? Why? Provide an example. Is your organization successful in managing inventory? Do your organization use any of the tools and concepts described in our text's chapter?
