This activity is to be conducted in a real or simulated workplace and will form part of your preparation for the Performance Activity. For one innovation project or task, you must read the brief and make appropriate plans to lead this with the work team. You should discuss the innovation project/task with the originator/manager to determine and clarify your understanding of this and the team. You should use questioning and active listening skills where needed in your discussions, and speak in a polite and professional manner. You should be given access to any other supporting information that is relevant to the project/task. You must then perform research to: Identify, analyse, and determine innovation strategies, practices, and trends from a range of relevant sources (internal and/or external to the workplace) Review, and analyse the trends that impact the organisation's thinking and practice Assess the conditions for team innovation and identify any issues that may prevent this Review the innovation drivers and enablers available and how these can be used to support the project/task.
